Preschool (3 to 4 years)

Our preschool classroom introduces young children to foundational academic skills that prepare them for the pre-kindergarten program. Each day brings new chances to grow through enrichment classes in art, music, STEAM, cooking, foreign language, and physical fitness. Children are given daily opportunities to become more independent and make their own choices. There is also a focus on executive function, helping each preschool student develop the attention and regulation skills they need to become an active, eager learner. These experiences support early literacy, motor skills, and social-emotional skills in a warm, encouraging setting.

Pre-Kindergarten (4 to 5 years)

The pre-kindergarten education program at Imagine centers on school readiness skills in reading, writing, science, and math. Children also take part in a character development curriculum that offers opportunities for problem solving, self-awareness, and responsibility. Quarterly kindergarten readiness assessments track each child’s growth and progress. Enrichment classes in art, music, STEAM, cooking, foreign language, and physical fitness round out the week. Executive function remains a focus, helping children build the attention and regulation skills needed to thrive. Advanced Pre-Kindergarten (5 years)

Our Advanced Pre-Kindergarten program was designed for children who have completed our Pre-Kindergarten program but miss the kindergarten cutoff date. This early childhood program challenges children socially, emotionally, and academically. Lessons follow state early learning standards and include:

Cross-curricular curriculum integrating reading, science, math, social studies, writing, and health
Reading instruction including phonics, reading strategies, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary
STEAM-based science and math instruction that teaches children to apply concepts, solve problems, communicate, and reason
Extra-curricular classes in art, music and drama, STEAM, cooking, foreign language, and physical fitness
A continued focus on executive function to help children develop the attention and regulation skills to be avid learners
