5 years
Five-year-olds are eager to learn and explore. They are ready to dig deeper, ask bigger questions, and take on real academic challenges. Our Advanced Pre-Kindergarten program was designed to challenge children socially, emotionally, and academically. It is a perfect fit for children who have completed our Preschool program but miss the kindergarten cut-off date for their school district. Instead of pausing their progress and waiting for the next school year, children continue building the academic skills and school readiness habits that will carry them confidently into elementary school.
Advanced Pre-Kindergarten (5 years)
Our Advanced pre-k program follows state early learning standards to give every child a strong and consistent foundation. Lessons are built around a connected, cross-curricular approach that brings together reading, science, math, social studies, writing, and health. Our pre-k teachers weave real-world thinking into every lesson, giving children the tools they need to question, explore, and grow. Daily routines are thoughtfully structured to build independence, focus, and the confidence children need as they prepare for kindergarten and beyond.
Built for What Comes Next
Our Advanced Pre-K program was built for children who have completed our Preschool program and are ready for more. These children already have a solid base of early childhood skills. Now, they are ready to go deeper.
Children learn to think independently, work with their peers, and develop the school readiness skills that matter most as they move toward kindergarten. Academic skills in reading, writing, math, science, and more are woven into every part of the day. Families attending public schools or private elementary school programs will find that our graduates arrive ready, confident, and excited to learn.
Join the Imagine Family

We believe great early education starts with great relationships, and we look forward to building one with your family.
Our Advanced Pre-Kindergarten Program:
Our pre-k classes include:
- Cross-curricular lessons integrating reading, science, math, social studies, writing, and health

- STEAM-based science and math instruction that teaches children to apply concepts, solve problems, communicate, and reason
- Extra-curricular classes in art, music and drama, STEAM, cooking, foreign language, and physical fitness
- A focus on executive function skills so children develop the attention and self-regulation needed to be strong, engaged learners
- An integrated social studies and health curriculum that helps children understand themselves, their school, and their community
