My name is Joseph Frendo, and I am the Executive Center Director for Imagine Early Education & Childcare in Tulsa, OK.
Though not a native Okie, my family and I moved to Tulsa in late 2020 from Michigan and have absolutely fallen in love with the city. Our Imagine community has played a big role in that. My two children attend the center as well, and we’ve made so many strong connections throughout our time at Imagine!

I graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Working with children has always been my passion. Prior to joining the Imagine team, I held various roles in both the child welfare and elementary education fields, giving me a holistic understanding of children and their development across different age groups, developmental stages, and the many other factors that make each child unique. I believe this background provides me with a valuable perspective on how we can best serve our families and community.

As both a parent and an employee, Imagine holds a special place in my heart. After serving as the Assistant Director here for the past three years, I am honored to continue leading our campus with the quality and consistency of care that has become the standard here.
